Hooded Top made from random bits and bobs from our studio
Inspired by all the colourful street art in our neighbourhood Walthamstow
This hoodie is made to from bits of fabric left over in the studio which has been hand dyed with left over dyes from other projects and also abandoned hivis vests so very much a zero waste project
It has a front pocket, hood, looooong sleeves with rib cuffs and some of the panels are printed in our Fly Tipping print
The reason it's so cheap
When we washed it, we found the dark blue runs, so it's REALLY important that it gets washed only with really dark blues and/or blacks or even better hand washed.
As it's an over garment, it shouldn't need to be washed all that often either which should help.
If you want to find out more about the dyes, the dark blue was iDye Navy, the lilac and pink were Dylon Dusty Violet and Flamingo Pink, mixed with Powder Pink and the green was a mix of Dylon and iDye colours too
Please note that Audunni (tall with braids) is wearing the hoodie before it got washed and the blue ran)
This garment is a one off!!!
