Waste fabrics become upcycled baby clothes and tee shirts by REDU
We seek to minimise waste, so fabric scraps are sent to Romania-based REDU, which transforms them into our new phannatiq baby clothes.
REDU has fast made a name for itself in the field of slow fashion, social economy and green entrepreneurship.
It creates new and improved products out of unwanted textiles, whether that's pre-consumer waste (for example our fabric scraps) or post-consumer waste (garments donated by the public that have reached the end of their lives).
Literally tonnes of fabric is donated and then turned into new clothes at REDU's workshop.
Our useable fabric scraps go directly from Katty Fashion to nearby REDU. While even the tiny pieces get sent to another factory to be made into cushion stuffing.
